Adding the Project Dashboard Template The Project Dashboard can be a top-level site or a subsite of another site. The Project Dashboard, Single Project, and Multi Projects application templates can be used to manage different aspect of a project, such as Tasks, Issues, and documents. To add the Project Dashboard template 1 Open Sites and workspaces in SharePoint. 2 Click Create. 3 Complete the site information and select the Project Dashboard Site template under the Custom tab. 4 Click Create. Next, you must configure the administrator group if you have not done so. The member of this group will see the Administration Pages panel in the panel menu. To configure the administrator group 1 Open People and groups in SharePoint. 2 Create an Administrators group and assign members to this group. The Project Dashboard site itself does not contain any data. You must create one or more Single Project sites or Multi Project sites as subsites of the Project Dashboard site.
